What happens when you arrive for your appointment at our shop?
Once you arrive at our shop you will meet with Humming Bird Woodworks Co-Owner Mike Wilson. Mike will take you on a tour of our large shop here in Glen Ellyn. He will He will answer any questions, and talk about any ideas you may have. You will see other cabinets in the fabrication process while there
What to bring to the appointment at our shop.
If you have some pictures, ideas for your Kitchen, or any drawings, bring them along for Mike to look at. If you don’t have any drawings, no problem. We can draw up your kitchen with full color 2D dimensioned elevations and 3D views.
What happens after the appointment at our shop?
We will come out to your house and measure the room where you would like your new cabinets. We will also take pictures to aid in the development of the drawings.
From there The Kitchen Cabinet and Design begins.
We draw up the room on the computer with the proposed cabinets drawn in.
Once the layout, and cabinet design has been finalized. The drawings are dimensioned, and 3D views, and 2D elevations are produced for cabinet fabrication at our shop,
The Fabrication
The cabinets are completely fabricated at our shop based on the final dimensions, and stained or painted based on what you choose.

The Installation.
Once that cabinets are finished at our shop we deliver and install them in your Home…
